Finca Las Margaritas is based on extensive volcanic wasteland that since 3 or 4 million years ago covered the coastal platform of Las Galletas. In this large agricultural area of 825 Ha is located the largest bananas plantations in greenhouse of Tenerife, where moves a volume of more than 26 thousand tons for export anually. FINCA LAS MARGARITAS began with the cultivation of banana in Las Galletas in the year 1977, the union and several family members of Adolfo Guerra González entrepreneurship and Margarita Hernández Pérez, later named the estate, being 86 years old in 2012. Both came from a long family generation of farmers in S/C de La Palma and San Andrés y Sauces. On this farm are produces 2 cultivars of Canary Island banana, the great dwarf and the thick Palm or small dwarf, the Dwarf Cavendish variety, reaching an average of 45-50 klg per bunch, and can find copies that they exceed the 70 klg. The acreage is of approximately 7 Ha with 98% of bananas and 2% of fruit trees such as: mango, papaya and avocado.

The Ethnographic Park & Botanical Garden Pirámides de Güímar is a large open-air museum and one of the five official botanical gardens of the Canary Islands. The Park was founded in 1998 by the renowned Norwegian researcher Thor Heyerdahl, who was responsible for safeguarding the pyramids from an urban development plan. In addition to the pyramids, the Park includes four outdoor trails and specialised gardens, spread over more than 64,000m2. The routes allow visitors to stroll freely through the extensive gardens, discovering interesting aspects of Canarian culture and nature. These routes include a Canarian Botanical Route, a Cultural Route and a Volcanic Route. The facilities also include the Casa Chacona Museum and an Auditorium. As for its botanical collections, you can visit the Poison Garden, unique in Spain, and the Sustainable Garden, a reproduction of a Canarian ravine, including a watercourse and presenting the flora characteristic of these environments in a sustainable way. The Tropicarium shows the life strategies used by orchids and insectivorous plants to survive in tropical conditions. The Park was the winner of the 'Best Overall Sustainable Tourism Practice 2021' award for the island of Tenerife and a national finalist in the 'Remarkable Venue Awards 2022' in the Best Hidden Gem category, which highlights the most outstanding and special places for travellers from all over the world. The Park has also been awarded the Biosphere Committed distinction for its sustainable commitment and is a member of the Climate Heritage Network. The Ethnographic Park & Botanical Garden Pirámides de Güímar offers a unique outdoor experience, without crowds of people thanks to its 30,000m2 of accessible garden areas, allowing culture and nature lovers to enjoy a day outdoors in a different, safe and sustainable environment.

The Parque del Drago is the first park in the Canary Islands with native flora with representations of the different bioclimatic levels of the northwest of Tenerife. In this "nature classroom" located in Icod de Los Vinos you will find ethnographic areas of special interest such as a medicinal garden with plants used by the island's ancestors as natural remedies.
