Overview
The Ethnographic Park & Botanical Garden Pirámides de Güímar is a large open-air museum and one of the five official botanical gardens of the Canary Islands.
The Park was founded in 1998 by the renowned Norwegian researcher Thor Heyerdahl, who was responsible for safeguarding the pyramids from an urban development plan.
