Reach new heights and gaze at the stars

El Teide Cable Car

El Teide Cable Car

For the Guanches, the aboriginal Canary Islanders, Mount Teide was a volcano considered sacred since ancient times, like Mount Fuji, Mount Olympus or Mount Kilimanjaro. This visit to Pico del Teide by cable car allows you to contemplate the landscape of the largest National Park in the Canary Islands from a height of 3555 metres above sea level. Its particular climate, altitude and volcanic forms invite you to contemplate and enjoy a unique moment that you will remember for the rest of your life. A visit to the Teide volcano is always different, the effects of the light throughout the day and the seasons with their climatic changes give the landscape an ever new appearance. However, two sensations remain constant: the immensity of the landscape and the magnificent silence. The Teide Volcano is at its most emblematic at sunrise and sunset. The spectacular nature of these moments is marked by the different tones of the sky and the light reflected on the rocks. If you want to go up to the Teide cable car you must select "Cable car for excursion" in our excursion Teide National Park.
